TK Toy Expo 2024 | Transformers Legacy United

It’s been almost six years, and the return of the Toy Kingdom Toy Expo after six years of hiatus was a welcome event for hobbyists and toy enthusiasts. The event has been around as far back as 2012 and it is a biennial event happening every other year until the pandemic happened four years ago cancelled this said event.

Now, the return for the much-adored Toy Expo is not the same as you have experienced since 2018. But that did not stop the Toy Kingdom from presenting every product they had in their store this year’s participation, which includes the Transformers brand by Hasbro distributed in the Philippines by Playkit Inc.

TK Toy Expo 2018 | TF Booth & Exhibit

08.25.2018 – Major events like the Toy Kingdom Toy Expo defines what kind of brand that is out there that continues to be relevant. Mostly from the toy brands that are synonymous with the hits for 2018 like the Avengers or Star Wars are the winners for kids that look forward to see in this event that also collectors go for.

But for the Transformers brand even though there was not much flair for its recent live action film from last year there is still interest for the toyline with Hasbro’s flagship range of Generations “Power of the Prime” coming to a close as the third instalment of the “Prime Wars Trilogy” supported with an animation by Machinima.

10.18.2014 – Dark Lord Dungeon aka Denis Del Callar is one of the few content writers in the community that maintains his own site that not only caters to Transformers Fans, but also to other specific interests that he’s into lately.

He’s a big Star Wars fan as evident of his reviews on the latest action figures also manufactured by Hasbro.

But earlier this morning he’s one of the featured exhibitors at the recently concluded C.A.V.E. (Collection of Art & Visual Expressions).

Toy Expo Philippines 2014: Transformers Booth & Display!

08.30.2014 – Yesterday was the opening of Toy Kingdom’s Toy Expo 2014, which is an annual event happening every two years.

The first one which opened its doors back in 2012 presented a much celebrated occasion.

For this year they have went ahead and opened Toy Expo to the public with a set of scheduled events. For Transformers they have a meet & greet with the friendly Autobots, but no other activities aside from exhibit area.

Age of Extinction Movie Launch!

06.14.2014 – No Filipino-based Transformers fan ever going to miss seeing Age of Extinction in Philippine theaters. Everyone started asking questions wondering and then there are some who just haven’t been reading about when it that is on June 25, 2014.

The movie promotion went into high gear and set a date to push for the movie’s scheduled screen date.

There are no speculations anymore since the weekend promotional event was launched at the SM Mall of Asia’s main mall one Friday afternoon.

STGCC 2012: Transformers & Exclusives at U-Toys!

09.01.2012 – The Singapore Toys, Games and Comic Convention opened its doors to the public and we headed to the U-Toys booth which featured the latest Transformers toys released by Hasbro and Takara. There are also the third party add-ons and figures released on display.

U-Toys are one of the local retailers in Singapore catering to the toy collecting community. Most of the featured toys on sale are from the Transformers franchise. They also have exclusive releases on display that you may not find anywhere.

The Hall of Heroes release New Transformers Prime Toys!

06.09.2012 – If you happen to be at the Robinsons Place Midtown in Ermita Manila chances are you might see the Toys R’ US “Hall of Heroes” event previously known as “World of Heroes” featuring the newest Hasbro products.

The event started yesterday and it will run throughout the weekend. For the Transformers Fans out there who also collect the toys there will be restocks. There will also be new Philippine releases of the Transformers Prime toys that you have been anticipating for the past months that has been out in North America.

Transformers Culture at the Manila Auto Salon 2011!

11.24.2011 – Today is the opening of Manila Auto Salon 2011 at the SMX Convention Center at Hall 3. The entrance ranges from PhP 80.00 pesos (Adults), PhP 60.00 pesos (Senior Citizen), and PhP 40.00 pesos (Children). So what to expect at this year’s MAS?

The simple answers are two things: Hot Women and Custom Cars. For any TransFan who are looking for Transformers related culture you’ll be in luck to see a couple. The most interesting showroom area that caught our attention is the Autobot: Paint & Body Works which is FOR REAL?!

TRU Transformers: Mission Earth Philippine Coverage!

07.12.2011 - If you never got the chance to take a glimpse of the launching of Toys R' Us event Transformers: Mission Earth, which was held on July 9 and 10, 2011.

The festivities happened over the weekend which they gave away prizes for those who bought Transformers merchandise worth PhP 500.00 pesos and above.

The coveted Tritanium Bumblebee made 10 pieces all over the world was its apex of grand prizes along with two Jetwing Optimus Prime and two Ultimate Optimus Prime figures.

Transformers: Dark of the Moon Philippine Midnight Screening!

06.30.2011 - The movie was already shown and it just earned millions of US dollars already. we heard the press media screening was festive down at SM Mall of Asia with the real life Chevy cars of the Camaro and Spark parked inside the Coca-cola IMAX Theater.

The gates where closed by 6PM and traffic was horrible under these circumstances.

We checked the other places where others celebrated its premier, and ended up at Greenbelt 3 cinema having their own promotion with the film.

Unang Hirit features Transformers on Philippine National Television!

06.28.2011 - Transformers Philippines was the group invited by GMA 7 Network's morning show Unang Hirit, which was featured in their segment to coincide in promoting the upcoming movie Transformers: Dark of the Moon.

The film will be shown across the Philippines on June 29, 2011. Featured in the group where Philip Briones, Mark Cerbo, and Dark Lord Dungeon blogger Denis del Callar. They brought in their personal collections to be featured, and UH also has cosplayers that went out as movie based versions of Optimus Prime and Bumblebee.

Toy Con 2011: Transformers Toy Customization!

06.19.2011 - If some are not paying attention to the panel discussion that happpend during the weekend of Toy Con 2011.

It must be that your drowning yourself in the slashed down prices of toys sold at the dealer area or having a photo opportunity with the next cosplayer with the gigantic weapon.

For some who would have experience a balanced happenings in a convention one should try checking the panel discussion, that featured passionate people in the industry.

Opening Day at Toy Con 2011!

06.18.2011 - The 10th Philippine, Toys, Hobbies, & Collectibles Convention opens its doors as people lined up the oldest Pop Culture Convention in Asia.

No doubt that this event is on its 10th year celebrating in 2011.

We've been part of the celebration since we joined and became part of its growth back in 2003.

Surely this is the biggest participation we had so far special acknowledgement to Solar-UIP and Collectibles Unlimited the organizers of Toy Con.

Preview Night at Toy Con 2011!

06.17.2011 - Its time once again for the biggest convention in the Philippines. We've been a part of the history since 2003 and this time we made it happen.

The crew is back and on our 9th appearance this might be something good to celebrate as early as 2012. Special acknowledgement to Solar United International Pictures for the opportunity to be part of their exhibit.

Most notably to Mr. Vic Yap the man behind Collectibles Unlimited, who started Toy Con since October 2002.

MIAS 2010: Autobots Represent!



04.16.2010 - If you haven't been to this year's Manila International Auto Show you must be stuck under a rock, and just raving about the toys you had recently acquired.

There are very few true Transformers fans out there who might get excited about this year's car show. Fellow TF Fan Vince Nunez was at the MIAS 2010 event to check out what's the news around some Transformers-inspired real-life cars on display. He has to pass by and made everyone envious when he spotted Bumblebee at the Chevrolet exhibit display area minus the racing stripes getting enough attention to the public with that sultry clean yellow look...
