TF Sightings | MicroMachines: Playsets

Micro Machines is one of the popular properties in the 1980s and 1990s, which was originally manufactured by Galoob (now part of Hasbro) has been known to produce micro scale vehicles and playsets and has been popular with its original TV commercial by John Moschitta Jr., who became known as the Micro Machine Man, and also voiced Blurr in the 1986 Transformers Movie. The toyline has been revived several times throughout the 2000s and a few years back, but popularity sometimes not on every 1980s property until they get mashed together with another popular brand like Transformers.

New Transformers Toys Launched But No Movie?

05.20.2014 – Transformers: Age of Extinction is gearing up its international release sometime next month, and still pondering the question if the Philippines will get the chance to see the film in its scheduled date? The fans that have seen the three previous films, and into the merchandise cast aside their doubts to see the launch of the latest toys based on the upcoming film during the weekend. It’s surprising that SM Megamall and Playkit (the Philippine distributor of the Hasbro brand) has extended the event yesterday (Monday).

TF Toy Sightings and New Releases!

01.12.2013 – Earlier today was Playkit’s first distribution of the new Voyager Class wave for Transformers Generations featuring characters from the hit videogame “Fall of Cybertron” as well as other assortments that came with this series. There were other sightings of the new toys that include the US release Masterpiece Thundercracker which was a TRU exclusive as well as the new wave of Voyager Class figures from the Transformers Prime featuring Dark Energon version of Megatron and Optimus Prime. The start of the New Year usher the latest toys from Hasbro and there's plenty more to come as we're just starting the month!

The Hall of Heroes release New Transformers Prime Toys!

06.09.2012 – If you happen to be at the Robinsons Place Midtown in Ermita Manila chances are you might see the Toys R’ US “Hall of Heroes” event previously known as “World of Heroes” featuring the newest Hasbro products. The event started yesterday and it will run throughout the weekend. For the Transformers Fans out there who also collect the toys there will be restocks. There will also be new Philippine releases of the Transformers Prime toys that you have been anticipating for the past months that has been out in North America.

Sighted: KRE-O Transformers "Cycle Chase!"

06.08.2012 – The construction toys Kre-O a collaboration between Hasbro and Korean manufacturer Oxford has introduced Transformers as wells as Battleship related sets. Some brick pieces can be compatible with LEGO or Mega Bloks. Last year’s release was based from the original Generation One series and Dark of the Moon movie which was heavily promoted. So far the sets have took off but never had newer sets that were introduced locally on retail in the Philippines. Most recent sets are from the tie-up with the Battleship live action movie.

Transformers Prime: RID Official Release at Toy Kingdom!

04.23.2012 – During the launch of the new 6’ Marvel Legends size Avengers figures inside Toy Kingdom’s flagship store at the basement level of SM Megamall quietly new Transformers Prime Robots in Disguise assortments was also released last Saturday. Carded in white background Deluxe Class assortment of Arcee, Bumblebee, Breakdown, Cliffjumper, Hot Shot, Knock Out, Ratchet, Soundwave, Vehicon Drone, and Wheeljack was on display. The most common among the assortment was Arcee, Bumblebee and Hot Shot. The rest was separate and displayed individually in the table.
