06.30.2011 - The movie was already shown and it just earned millions of US dollars already. we heard the press media screening was festive down at SM Mall of Asia with the real life Chevy cars of the Camaro and Spark parked inside the Coca-cola IMAX Theater. The gates where closed by 6PM and traffic was horrible under these circumstances. We checked the other places where others celebrated its premier, and ended up at Greenbelt 3 cinema having their own promotion with the film. |
It was one of the few cinemas that held a midnight screening to welcome Transformers: Dark of the Moon.
Anticipation was riding on this film since it was announced that this could be Michael Bay's last directorial on the Transformers live action film franchise. We already seen the toys and saw the film, which was something that left us with mixed reactions.
For some Transfan in us the perspective was more of finding a good ending for this trilogy that started in 2007. There are some who would clamor for more but these screenings are quite a fiesta worth going through and to qoute Optimus Prime... "It's done."
If you haven't got the chance to see how the midnight screening was conducted here are some photos to remember the movie's end...
