Legacy United | First Look: Sandstorm

The Forty Years of Transformers started rolling for today’s ‘Transformers Tuesday” in the US reveals for upcoming figures that would be released for the summer season. Although the highlight for the release centered on two iconic characters getting a re-release in a comic book-inspired iteration.

This one is for the upcoming second wave of the Legacy United toyline that some longtimne fans have been clamoring since the last one came out in the thirtiesth anniversary year.

News Round Up | Bee Movie & Siege Sightings

01.07.2019 – Wrapping up the weekend Transformers was the highlight due to the special Philippine screening of Bumblebee Movie by UIP/Columbia Pictures with special invites to media after a long delayed wait due to the annual Metro Manila Film Fest (MMFF) that prohibited foreign films from being shown for the month of December 2018.

The other bit of new3s may be minor but the first installment for War For Cybertron: SIEGE officially available at Toy Kingdom with some of the new wave of Cyberverse assortment started appearing local retail particularly at Toy Kingdom Express satellite stores inside The SM Store toy section.

TK New Release | Transformers Siege

12.30.2018 – Transformers Siege: the War for Cybertron Trilogy has dropped at Toy Kingdom flagship store in SM Megamall yesterday during their “Distribution Day.”

The first wave had made it to Philippine retail market for its pre-release since they opened their stores early in the day.

There were a lot of collectors looking for this first wave from this new trilogy that is unrelated to the videogame from eight years ago. The title “War For Cybertron” has been used before which was organically based from Activisions videogame set during the civil war in Cybertron, but this toyline is different…

Happy Meal 2016 | Robots in Disguise

07.16.2016 – Previously McDonald’s has consistently released Happy Meal toys based from the current Transformers series Robots in Disguise. For this year they continue the tradition and with Hasbro in bringing this toy premium expanding the Transformers brand.

But most of them are not toy-based but rather a role play premium for the younger kids. For the Philippine market RiD is introduced as this month’s Happy Meal alongside for the boys while Sanrio characters is set for girls to collect.

First Look: TF Legends Ultra Magnus!

08.10.2015 – The Combiner Wars certainly giving fans the interest in catching up with the toy versions of the characters featured in IDW’s comic book series. Under this theme they also released Ultra Magnus, which was produced by Hasbro.

In another part of the world in Japan TF Yuki who is active on micro blogging site Twitter continues to surprise fans all over the world.

A few hours earlier he just revealed Takara Tomy’s version of Ultra Magnus under Transformers Legends!

Happy Meal 2015: Robots in Disguise!

07.19.2015 – It’s been a while since McDonald’s featured TransFormers as one of their meal toys. The last one was based from the TransFormers: Prime series almost two years ago and probably won’t remember them now for being non-transforming.

The new TransFormers: Robots in Disguise seemed interesting as McDonald’s had released the Happy Meal toys earlier this year paired with My Little Pony. But in the Philippines they have been sighted earlier paired with Littlest Petshop

Transformers Devastation The Game Revealed!

06.17.2015 – Finally! Activision and Platinum Games has revealed the next Transformers videogame. They are bringing the Generation One characters up front and center for this awesome bout of metallic mayhem.

For this new game they are imploring cell-shaded animations in favor of the more sophisticated computer generated animation.

They are definitely going for old-school style of play that was revealed in the recently in E3 2015 and more details of the game can be found here!

11.30.2014 – The Combiner Wars is coming in 2015 and it’s the next wave of Generations toy line that’s also the upcoming major story arc in IDW Publishing’s comic book that was teased in Transformers: More Than Meets The Eye #34.

TF Asia Exclusive: Hasbro MP-10 with Vector Sigma!

10.10.2014 – It’s rare having a second chance at a reproduction of a Transformers character in the Masterpiece line. Even for a recently released figure its never going to be reproduced unless its for an occasion that the brand is celebrating an anniversary.

There has been reproduction of Grimlock in a new box with slight color or improvement of the toy addressing the minor flaws. Then you get to hear Hasbro about to release MP-05 dubbed the “30th Anniversary” edition and there’s MP-10 Optimus Prime that has Vector Sigma…

Honest Trailers: Transformers Age of Extinction!

10.08.2014 – Transformers Age of Extinction will go down as one of the highest grossing films in 2014. But the reviews are mixed to disappoint the mainstream crowd and some did not stop airing their thoughts through social media.

There’s already a fifth film in the works but for those who had hope for has came true the Michael Bay is not going to direct it, and this latest “Honest Trailer” did not disappoint pointing out the flaws of the fourth film.

Robots in Disguise (2015) airing on Cartoon Network!

10.07.2014 – Celebrating “Thrilling 30” years as an iconic brand from a 1980s cartoon Transformers has become a global franchise enjoyed by long time fans and younger audience that has a blockbuster billion dollar film in Age of Extinction.

Last Comic-Con International (SDCC) Hasbro teased a trailer of a new animated series that would possible continue the Transformers Prime series to new heights.

The reveal what would be the titled “Robot in Disguise” not to be mistaken with the 2001 series.

They also teased a short trailer featuring Bumblebee in the spotlight with new faces that he will lead to new adventures.

The new “Robots in Disguise” have the aesthetics and designs of characters from Transformers Prime, but will this actually continue what the previous series has ended?

Masterpiece MP-24 Star Saber March 2015 Release!

10.06.2014 – Transformers G1 cartoon lasted until 1987 with Headmasters, and the rest of the toyline for Micromasters did not receive any animation.

But Marvel who originally published the comic books until 1991 with an open ended that was revived in 2012.

Of course IDW Publishing made it possible to wrap up the comic book earlier this year.

The cartoon ended without any new Transformers but in Japan it kept chugging with Masterforce (Japanese Powermasters) and Victory that introduced Star Saber!

Transformers Legends Teaser by Hisashi Yuki!

10.02.2014 – TransFormers Legends will be Takara Tomy’s latest series of toys based from previous line.

This would replace the TransFormers United series that has been part of Takara Tomy’s flagship brand.

Hisashi Yuki late after noon teased some interesting images courtesy of Maximal’s iconic saboteur and Arcee great grand nephew Rattrap.

The line has promising figures that was revealed via Yuki’s Twitter account, which will be released soon.

Peter Cullen Celebrate Home Release for Age of Extinction!

10.01.2014 – The legend of Optimus Prime continues to grow through the voice of the 2011 Daytime Emmy Award winner in Peter Cullen.

He was honored at the TLC Chinese Theater in Hollywood Tuesday afternoon immortalized during the world-famous handprint-footprint ceremony.

This was also to celebrate the home entertainment release of Transformers: Age of Extinction in Blu-Ray and DVD format. Peter Cullen has been voicing the Autobot Commander for decades and he has nothing but praise for bringing the character to life…

Takara Tomy at the Japan Model & Hobby Show 2014!

09.26.2014 – @TFYuki has just shared Takara Tomy’s next event appearance at the Japan Model and Hobby Show. He's inviting the local fans as well as international visitors to visit their display featuring the movie characters from Age of Extinction.

Takara Tomy is still heavily promoting the fourth live action Transformers film, which stars Mark Wahlberg. This could be Michael Bay’s last time to sit in the director’s chair after taking a step looking forward to other future projects like long awaited Bad Boys 3 that made him a household name.

Angry Birds TransFormers Game Play & Characters!

09.25.2014 – The collaboration between Hasbro and Rovio the developers of the popular mobile game app in Angry Birds first teased the partnership during the Comic-Con International or widely known as San Deigo Comic Convention (SDCC) last July.

The teaser featured what is revealed now as the AUTOBIRD’s (a portmanteau of Autobots and Birds) famous leader Red as Optimus Prime battling the DECEPTICHOGS with interactions of other well-known characters from the world of Angry Birds…

Toy Expo Philippines 2014: TOBOT -- Korean TransFormers!

09.01.2014 – If you missed the event about Toy Kingdom’s Toy Expo you haven’t missed much. But the only difference in 2014 is that there’s not much product launch, which has something to do with Transformers.

But there is one related to robots turning into vehicles and other things that’s popular no in Japan but in Korea. The series is called “TOBOT.”

The series is a 3D animated show and the toys are manufactured by Young Toys that’s now popular with the kids.

BOTCON 2014 Comic Diamond Edition Cover!

08.22.2014 – For those who missed BOTCON 2014 and missed out on the comic book by Marty Isenberg featuring the artwork of Hayato Sakamoto you still have a second chance at getting it at your locval comic book stores. Diamond has released a new edition featuring cover art by Marcelo Matere.

The cover of course is inspired from the 1986 Transformers: The Movie, which was originally reported by BWTF.com featuring the Diamond Edition. But details on the entire cover weren't not fully revealed, that Diamond has shared last night featuring BOTCON exclusive characters!
