Sightings: New Toy Kingdom at SM Aura Premier!

05.24.2013 – If you missed the opening of Toy Kingdom’s latest store last May 17th at the brand new mall at the Fort Bonifacio in Taguig chances are you could have been there already. The latest store is big and the shelves are spread out not bunched up like you’re in a library. When you see the entrance the first thing you’ll notice is the human size Bumblebee in the glass window greeting the kids behind the glass. The toy section has only have half the space for Transformers related products aligned with the other robots.

Transformers Generations Springer - 30th Anniversary

Springer is not to be confused with the Transformers Generations Springer Asian Exclusive  - though I'm pretty sure that a lot of that will happen. This particular Transformers Generations Springer is the herald of the upcoming 30th year anniversary of the Transformers in 2014 - so do expect to empty your pockets more from now till then.

I've always loved the Green Knight of the Autobot and could never quite understand why Hasbro only released one version (G1) of Springer as a triple changer.  Everything else that followed that simply wasn't up to par. So when I saw that they finally did, I absolutely had to grab him

Sightings: Generations 30th Anniversary Releases!

05.03.2013 – In the last two days the new Generations toys celebrating 30 years of Transformers has started to appear on retail stores like Toys r’ Us and Toy Kingdom in Metro Manila. The new Generations that were sighted is the Voyager Calss assortment in Blitzwing and Springer which was launched over the weekend through distribution release by Playkit. There were also Generations in Legends Class scale in Optimus Prime and Bumblebee having companions in Roller and Blaze Master going for PhP 700.00 pesos. Though the price is not entirely justifiable they seem to fit to the upcoming Metroplex in September.

WB001: Warbot Defender is not Springer or so you think!

08.18.2011 - Warbot Defender is not Springer. The appearance can be deceiving but he’s not, but for every TransFan has been craving for an official modern representation of the famed Triple Changer. They have to settle for the Fans Project exclusive known as “Warbot Defender” designated as WB001. Released in early 2010 Warbot Defender is a third party product from the same group of collectors who founded Fans Project. Famous for their TFC EX-01: Cliff Conversion Kit that was released in 2008 which followed by the TFX-01 Parallax City Commander armor add-on for the Voyager Class Classics Ultra Magnus figure.
