War For Cybertron: Siege | Barricade

02.29.2020 – Barricade is a member of the Cybertron Security Operations that appears in the rebooted IDW continuity, but prior to that new universe he also appeared in the 2005 continuity, which is heavily based and inspired from the 2007 live-action character with the same name. Although Barricade shares the same name with the G1 version, which is a member for the Micromaster Race Track Patrol. This ‘Police’ version is entirely a new character now based from the WFC: Siege action figure that is finally released in the Wave 4 assortment of action figures along with Impactor and Mirage!

Titans Return | Apeface

07.14.2018 – There are a few interesting Transformers characters from the vintage toyline that was overlooked that had small screen time in the cartoon. Rarely, most are into the characters that had vehicle alternate forms. But when Titans Return was released it was more of nostalgic throwback to what was the best with Headmasters. Few would remember Decepticons that stand out from its subline and Apeface is one of those interesting toys that came out from the Headmasters that was mostly didn’t get that kind of fandom attention. But this Decepticon gets a second chance as part of the second wave release of the Titan Masters.

Titans Return | Kickback

02.04.2017 – The Insecticons is an independent sub-group of the Decepcticons. In the original G1 cartoon series they where introduced to have landed on Earth even before the Ark has crashed a million years prior to their activation to the modern world. The Titans Return range of figures introduces the latest iteration of Kickback to the Generations toyline, which also pays tribute to his original figure. This Insecticon is no push over he’s read y to definitely kick you Autobot friends no pun intended…

Happy Meal Spotlight: TF RiD Clampdown!

08.12.2015 – The latest Transformers series right now is Robots in Disguise not to be mistaken for the 2001 series of the same name, which was originally titled ‘Car Robots’ in Japan. This new series is mostly targeted for the younger audience. For the reason why the latest Happy Meal in the Philippines features Transformers Robots in Disguise, which was also released in the US earlier this year. If anyone who hasn’t seen the show here’s one Decepticon you should know he’s Clampdown!

Reveal the Shield: Chopsaw!

05.04.2013 – It’s obvious that Chopsaw is a straight repaint/retool of Brimstone which was originally released under the Dark of the Moon toyline. There was no other difference besides the colors that make them unique to each of their own. Released under the Reveal the Shield subline for the Generations series making this character exist in the G1 universe. But there was no other media to support the character’s entire existence in this timeline.

MRX-00L: Stealth Robo Hyper Mode!

04.01.2013 – Hasbro has acquired the GoBots name as wells its rights to appearance and characters. The toy line was previously owned by Tonka which produces large scale die cast toys preferably construction themed vehicles. The GoBots toys where based from Bandai’s Machine Robo series which featured the iconic characters with the likes of Leader-1, Cykill, with the rest of the Heroic Guardians and Evil Renegades living in one team battling alien monsters similar to the theme prior to the Diaclone becoming Transformers that everyone knew which made history.

Devastating Stop-Motion with TFC Hercules!

10.02.2012 – There are great stop-motion animation featuring toys as subject and it’s a delicate task in making the best one stand out. For this simple short clip it features the much-talked about third-party Transformers in Hercules set a Constructicons on steroids. Everyone wants a decent representation of the baddest Decepticon ever but the official toys are lacking in size and not entirely cartoon accurate.

Knock Off Comparison with TFC-18 Soundblaster!

06.16.2012 – Takara Tomy has announced the next Masterpiece would be Soundwave designated at MP-13 and currently the prototype which also featured the would-be final product on display at The International Tokyo Show. The announcement circulated just like the infamous Decepticon Communications Officer delivering the signal of his arrival to local toy shelves as well as specialty shops in Japan. The news gives a look at his next evolution known as Soundblaster in Japan’s Headmaster series which aired in 1987 where the US series ceased its airing.
