Beast Machines | Longhorn

When a new character toy or released as part of the Transformers franchise and brand they appear on the animated series or in the comicbooks. Rarely, you’ll ever appreciate a “non-show” character that gets immediately forgotten. With the resurging nostalgia and interest of the Beast Era through the War for Cybertron toyline some only knew a few characters that only scratched the surface of the 1990s series. As the Chinese Lunar Year inches close by here’s a spotlight for an unsung character that is typically unknown and immediately forgotten. If you haven’t heard of Longhorn then you only know what’s popular with Beast Wars that gave a renewed interest for the Transformers brand, but with Beast Machines then you’ll be surprised.

Robot Masters RM-05: R-Blade!

05.02.2014 – Almost 10 years ago Takara had a similar toy line to Hasbro’s ‘Transformers Universe’ prior to 2008. It was dubbed ‘Robot Masters’ and most of the figures in the line are recycled and redeco from previous toy line with exception to Optimus Primal (Beast Convoy), Beast Megatron, G1 Starscream and Optimus Prime. The rest like the Japanese Beast Wars series and Cyberjets from G2 are reused to fill up the character roster. One of the Cyberjets that gets a second look is R-Blade...

Reveal the Shield: Chopsaw!

05.04.2013 – It’s obvious that Chopsaw is a straight repaint/retool of Brimstone which was originally released under the Dark of the Moon toyline. There was no other difference besides the colors that make them unique to each of their own. Released under the Reveal the Shield subline for the Generations series making this character exist in the G1 universe. But there was no other media to support the character’s entire existence in this timeline.

When I bought this little dude in the store i kinda fell in love with him. 

From the Hunt For the Decepticons line of transformers toys comes this little dude named Breacher who transforms into a tiny blue APC:
