| 06.07.2014 – Transformers Age of Extinction has started appearing in Philippine retail store with a ‘silent’ toy launch prior to the film’s looming future due to dispute between Universal International Pictures and the former local distributor for the country.
But during the past few days it seems ‘all systems go’ as the first wave of Age of Extinction toys by Hasbro has started to fill up the empty shelves once occupied by Transformers Prime Beast Hunters. The Deluxe Class first wave has an interesting line up that includes Autobot Drift! |
For those who are not into reading the comic books by IDW Publications the character Autobot Drift is the product of the series where he first appeared.
Drift or rather Autobot Drift was an original comic book character who will also appear in Transformers: Age of Extinction. In the film he will be voiced by Ken Watanabe (Godzilla, Inception, and Batman Begins).
It seems local toy distributor Playkit has started putting all the movie toys at their shelves, and there will be an official launch sometime next week. i believe that drift is released on wave 2! and they have a second launch at sm fairview last May 31st
