| The new Transformers assortments featuring the Velocitron Spedia 500 brings in also the new wave of Legacy as previously reported. There’s more where that came from, and surely there is no delay this time or short on stocks to fill up the retail isle that has been depleted post-pandemic.
Not all retail stores are carrying all these new assortments, and the local distributor is more strategic with the locations with more foot traffic than just stocking up every branch that’s not getting enough people to pass by, and the term ‘hole in the wall’ seems like a thing of the past if you notice some stores with no new Transformers. |
But not everything is gloom and doom because the retained shops with updated assortments have some surprising assortments that were also sighted, and that’s where Toy Kingsdom is up with their assortments with the Velocitron and Shattered Glass assortment that also includes some Core Class figures from Legacy.

Though Cosmos is the one that got away that doesn’t mean you may not find Clamdown unlike the previous store. In fact they had that last figure in case you missed that one. But surely you won’t miss on the latest Transformers collaborative figure with Megatron that comes with Cobra’s Baroness!
That’s right, Cobra’s Intelligence Officer teams up with the Decepticon Leader taking the form of the iconic Hiss Tank. Surely, the Hasbro Pulse pre-orders have not been released until late 2022/early 2023, and yet Toy Kingdom in SM Makati had TWO on their shelf since Thursday (4 August 2022).
As of this writing they only have one left, and despite the price point it sure is going to vanish soon enough.

There’s no further news if Toy Kingdom will ever get a restock following the immediate sold out of the Velocitron Spedia 500’s most sought after characters. This goes the same for the collaborative for the Megatron HISS.
Surely, the local distributor is paying attention for the product’s movement, and the demand is not enough to put in just a set of the particular assortment. Most determined enough. For now, keep an eye for more sightings and updates!
