TF Cybertron | Beast Megatron

Megatron is the baddest Cybertronian that others emulate his villainy in the next iteration of the Transformers series. In Beast Wars, there was a new Megatron, though not as brutal as the original this one had personality and idolized him to the point taking the name meant more than just mere influence.

In the last part of the Unicron Trilogy there was also a Megatron, but this one was supposed to be taking the form of a “Beast Wars character” when the Decepticons reached the Jungle Planet.

At that time Hasbro was set to celebrate Beast Wars 10th Anniversary by producing an all-new Beast Megatron, which resulted in this figure that didn't get notice only BW fans would know.

Transformers Cybertron: Optimus Prime (PART 2)

Here we go with part two of our Cybertron Optimus Prime Special. As you can see he's been joined by friends and this part of the review will cover Cybertron Optimus Prime's ability to merge, link-up or power-up with the help of his fellow Autobots, specifically: (R-L) Wing Saber, Leo Breaker, Vector Prime and Leo Prime.

Technically there is one more Autobot who should be present here the Giant Planet Autobot Metroplex whose axe Cybertron Optimus Prime can use. Unfortunately, I don't own a Metroplex.... yet (soon my pet, soon).

Transformers Cybertron: Optimus Prime (PART 1)

Presenting Optimus Prime from the Transformers Cybetron animated series. The Cybertron Optimus Prime is actually my favorite Prime - even if I thought that the cartoon was a weird escalating see-saw battle of egos.

I'm partial to the Cybetron Optimus Prime because of his very concept - his looks, articulation and this particular Leader of the Autobot's ability to merge with his fellow Autobots to become a stronger amalgamation. Add a Cyberkey or two and he becomes even stronger. It also helps that he starts out looking like a typical foot-soldier then ends up looking like a futuristic Samurai Warlord.

Cybertron Optimus Prime's Blister car reads: "Optimus Prime is a leader in the best sense of the word, taking point on every mission and never sending his team into any situation he wouldn’t go into himself. Dedicated to the protection of all life and the preservation of freedom for all sentient beings, he serves as a role model for his fellow Autobots. It is through his keen intelligence, even hand, steady nerves and endless compassion that the AUTOBOTS continue to frustrate the evil plans of DECEPTICON again and again. Unlock the power! Super-sized OPTIMUS PRIME figure is battle-ready three different ways! Change from robot warrior to heavily armored super robot and then to a futuristic missile-launching long-hauler! Electronic lights and sounds juice up the action! Activate tons of special features with the AUTOBOT Leader Planet Key—reveal the heavy ION blaster or snap out hidden twin rocket launchers! Place this awesome figure at the front of your AUTOBOT ranks to fend off the evil DECEPTICONS. . . it’s going to be a fight to the finish to save CYBERTRON!"

Transformers Cybertronian Soundwave!

Presenting Soundwave from the TF War for Cybertron Video Game. After our feature on the Reveal the Shield Perceptor, where we showed that Perceptor was a triple changer thanks to the creatives minds at Seibertron.com, I thought that we might as well show another Transformer gifted with a third form thanks to Seibertron.com: The Cybertronian Soundwave. I am particularly fond of this "third" form because - if you've played War for Cybertron - then you do know that the Cybetronian Soundwave is indeed a triple changer and is one of the bosses that the Autobots have to battle - along with Soundwave's little friends Laserbeak, et.al.

Transformers Galaxy Force Vector Prime

Presenting Transformers Galaxy Force Vector Prime - Voyager Class.  I purchased him last week loose but complete off the black market for PhP 1,000. Note that I designated him as a Galaxy Force Vector Prime and not a Transformers Cybertron Vector Prime - Which is the cartoon that first gave popularity to Vector Prime. I designated him a Galaxy Force Vector Prime because, based upon his paint scheme, this particular Vector Prime was made by Takara and not Hasbro.  When Vector Prime was first released in 2005, Hasbro kept his colors stark i.e. bone white, solid browns, blues and gold. Takara stayed truer to the cartoon and muted Vector Prime's whites and browns to bring out more of the intricate gold color detail that they spent more time and effort on.
