| 06.26.2014 – TRANSFORMERS: Age of Extinction is now in cinemas and if you’re one of the few who were in Hong Kong last week. You’ll probably have seen the fireworks and the spectacle of the launching of the film plus a full scale Optimus Prime statue guarding the red carpet.
Hollywood descended in Hong Kong on June 19 for the world premiere of Michael Bay's “Transformers: Age of Extinction,” the fourth installment of the mega-blockbuster franchise. The much awaited robots in disguise has gone global with its world premiere happening in Asia. |
The red-carpet event and screening took place at the Hong Kong Culture Center, and attended by director Michael Bay, cast members Mark Wahlberg, Stanley Tucci, Kelsey Grammer, Nicola Peltz, Jack Reynor, Li Bingbing, T. J. Miller, Han Geng and the band IMAGINE DRAGONS, who wrote the original song "Battle Cry" for the film and performed live on the rooftop of Harbour City following the film's screening.
Invited guests were treated to the performance of Imagine Dragons in the evening, but during the day the cast and crew arrived in style as they greeted the fans as well as talking to the media about what to expect in the film.
To cap off the night fireworks brighten the Hong Kong skyline as the world premiere ended with a distinct fashion and also celebrating TRANSFORMERS fourth sequel.
