GT-R Maximus with Hiro was originally released in Japan by toy maker Takara Tomy on September 28, 2013 with Japanese ID number: GT-04 which is a heavily retool/repaint of the ternity Convoy (Optimus Prime) transforming into a 1:32 replica of the D'station Advan GT-R race car used by the KONDO Racing team in the Super GT racing championship series.
Yokohama Philippines had it on display at their booth as one of the prices when you join their online contest through their Instagram account. All you have to do is send a #Selfie photo yourself taken inside the Yokohama booth and to win it you need to have the most LIKE votes which will be announced on April 7, 2014.
The GT-R Maximus is actually based from Fortress Maximus, the Headmaster that turned into the Autobot’s headquarters. In the “Transformers GT: Mission GT-R” he transforms into a racing car, and for those who are unfamiliar with the toy it was exclusively released as a licensed product in Japan featuring real world sponsor stickers. He comes with highly-poseable Hiro race queen figure, which in the Philippines is similar to a “Booth Babe” in most car shows.
In the display it did include the Master Sword and Maximus is standing side-by-side with Hiro in the glass display as one of the top prizes.
If you happen going to miss out all the fun this weekend at MIAS 2014 photos of Transformers GT-R Maximus with Hiro in all angles have been taken earlier today. This is actually a rare find if you’re a hardcore Transfan who have known about this version of Fortress Maximus.
