Transformers Galaxy Force Vector Prime
Presenting Transformers Galaxy Force Vector Prime - Voyager Class. I purchased him last week loose but complete off the black market for PhP 1,000. Note that I designated him as a Galaxy Force Vector Prime and not a Transformers Cybertron Vector Prime - Which is the cartoon that first gave popularity to Vector Prime. I designated him a Galaxy Force Vector Prime because, based upon his paint scheme, this particular Vector Prime was made by Takara and not Hasbro. When Vector Prime was first released in 2005, Hasbro kept his colors stark i.e. bone white, solid browns, blues and gold. Takara stayed truer to the cartoon and muted Vector Prime's whites and browns to bring out more of the intricate gold color detail that they spent more time and effort on.

Million Publishing Stepper Exclusive!
04.22.2011 - Million Publishing has revealed their upcoming exclusive Stepper figure. This figure looks to be exclusive with the upcoming Transformers Generations 2011 book set for release April 27, 2011. This exclusive is a repaint/retool of Reveal The Shield/United Jazz just as Takara Tomy exclusive G1 Targetmaster Stepper released in the Headmasters line was a repaint of G1 Jazz. Released in the U.S. as Ricochet as part of the Toys R' Us Commemerative Reissue Series in 2003. Stepper is seen here holding a redeco of Nightstick, which orignally came with a Henkei/Universe Cyclonus in 2008. |

Transformers: Battle Rollar TFC EX-002 The Prime Scout
Presenting Transformers: Battle Rollar, AKA the Prime Scout AKA TFC EX-002. Battle Rollar is a "Fansproject" from TFC Toys (Which unfortunately has one of the worst toy-web-sites I've ever seen). In a nut-shell, Battle Rollar is that cute little buggy that comes out of Optimus Prime's trailer in the cartoons.
The comic book included in the package hints - and I say hints because... well it's not much of a comic book - at Battle Rollar once being a small Transformer in the service of (And with a severe man-crush on) Orion Pax (Who would later become Optimus prime). When the war started, the Decepticons raided the warehouse where he worked and Battle Rollar ran - making him the only survivor. It isn't clear after that how he became a buggy (Just plain Roller) in the service of Optimus Prime or why he never transformed prior to this.

Transformers Generations: Warpath
Presenting Transformers Generations: Warpath. I chanced upon Transformers Generations Warpath while trying to raise my spirits on a Saturday morning in Toy Kingdom in Powerplant Mall. So I got it for the local retail price of PhP 699.75. It retails on the black-market for as much as PhP 1,400. Is it worth it at that price? In my opinion a resounding "NO!" But it is a nice figure to have. If you're buying it on e-bay or through the internet, you should know that there is a Transformers Universe Warpath that is Legends class but looks very similar to the Transformers Generations Warpath Deluxe class. So make sure you clear that before you commit to buying anything on the internet, you might end up with a small tiny figure (Which actually isn't so bad, keep it).

Transformers War for Cybertron Optimus Prime Battle Axe
I AM PRIME!!!! |
Presenting Transformers War for Cybertron Optimus Prime's Battle Axe! This particularTransformers Custom Battle Axe was specially ordered from Victoyoyos for PhP 1,200 inclusive of shipping. Now, most people who have played the video game on X-box or PC will be quick to note that the Energy Battle Axe used by Optimus Prime in the War for Cybertron video game was a double-headed Battle Axe as can be seen in the art provided below. However, trawl the internet for War of Cybertron images and you will find images of Optimus Prime holding a Halberd (not an Axe) similar to the one he's holding now.
Also let's face it, with those stubby arms, there was no way that Prime was going to hold a double headed Battle Axe.

Leonard Nimoy as Sentinel Prime in Transformers: Dark of the Moon?
03.24.2011 - An exclusive from Entertainment Weekly had reported that Transformers: Dark of the Moon character Sentinel Prime will be voiced by Leonard Nimoy. For any serious Transfan Mr. Nimoy was remembered also for providing Galvatron a voice in the 1986 Transformers: The Movie. Surely if this is confirmed everyone will have a field day spreading this good news. |

Transformers Generations: Wheeljack
Presenting the Hasbro version of Transformers Generations Wheeljack. One of the most famous and beloved Transformers, co-creator of the Dinobots, and one of the supposed holy grails of the Transformers Generations line is unfortunately nothing more than a re-tooling of Transformers Generations Tracks.
I was initially excited about getting Transformers Generations so you can imagine my disappointment to find out he was a re-tool.
In his defense though Transformers Generations Wheeljack's re-tooling is more than just a new head, accessories and a paint job, they gave him a new body-kit - a rear spoiler and a front spoiler/air dam. The final transformations are also different as tracks has to twist his lower torso to complete his transformation while Transformers Generations Wheeljack just splits his legs open and that's it. I purchased this particular figure on e-bay courtesy of Victoyoyoys for PhP 790 inclusive of shipping.
