Transformers Generations: Warpath

Presenting Transformers Generations: Warpath. I chanced upon Transformers Generations Warpath while trying to raise my spirits on a Saturday morning in Toy Kingdom in Powerplant Mall. So I got it for the local retail price of  PhP 699.75. It retails on the black-market for as much as PhP 1,400. Is it worth it at that price? In my opinion a resounding "NO!" But it is a nice figure to have. If you're buying it on e-bay or through the internet, you should know that there is a Transformers Universe Warpath that is Legends class but looks very similar to the Transformers Generations Warpath Deluxe class. So make sure you clear that before you commit to buying anything on the internet, you might end up with a small tiny figure (Which actually isn't so bad, keep it).

On to the good news:

True to the line, Transformers Generations Warpath is a wonderful tribute to the cartoon version of Warpath as can be seen here. The biggest difference is the switch from Warparth's original General Motors M551A1 Sheridan ARAAV tank to Transformers Generations Warpath's "H" tank which looks incredibly like the Halo M8O8B "Scorpion" Battle Tank.
This modern upgrade for Transformers Generations Warpath gives him a much needed more domineering appearance thanks to the shoulder pauldrons and the additional shoulder mounted weaponry that comes from the added secondary weapons that is commonly seen today on the turrets of modern tanks; and the move from the "fat" rounded turret to the sleeker modern tank turret.

Transformers Generations Warpath's turret is normally retracted when he is in robot mode, however it can still be telescoped out - though personally I feel that there's a very dirty joke somewhere there when you do.

On to the BAD news:

Well actually there's only one thing I don't like: Transformers Generations Warpath comes with a missile that he can launch from a turret mounted rocket launcher from his turret in tank mode or from his shoulder in robot mode. The missile is extremely long and it looks like another turret. Frankly he looks better without it.
Am I coming or going?

I like Transformers Generations Warparth. He's not a major character, but he has spunk and comes across as a solid addition in any collection. I wouldn't go out of my way to get him, but I'd grab him if I saw him - which is what I did.
