| 07.11.2011 - The weekend launch of Toys R' Us of the new waves of toys from Transformers: Dark of the Moon was not only exciting but festive with prizes to be given that day. Both Saturday and Sundays the local fans as wells families, who pass by the event center where excited to see the giant robot statues. Now that Dark of the Moon is hitting its second week in theaters the build up for the merchandise is in high gear. The new waves that we previously reported is not the only attraction, that was seen being sold at the show floor. The main attraction was actually the prize. |
There where prizes up for grabs in those both days. The mechanics is easy just purchase PhP 500.00 pesos worth of Dark of the Moon toys, and your entitled to one raffle coupon.
They where giving away the Jetwing Optimus Prime not to be confused with the Ultimate Optimus Prime with his trailer. They where raffling off two of each of the above mentioned. The most coveted giveaway to close the launch was the Tritanium Bumblebee, which was only 10 pieces made all over the world.
Some people call it the "Silver Bumblebee" and it was also indicated in their information on how to win this magnificent collectible.
This piece of hardware that everyone dreams about owning is based on the MechTech Deluxe Bumblebee figure in silver metalized version presented in a perspex case.
Originally was given away as part of the Transformers Midnight Madness event in six Asian countries between May 13 and 14, 2011.
This was officially raffled off at the toy launch in Robinsons Galleria and one person won it. News has it that a parent won this elusive giveaway Sunday afternoon. This means there's one lucky owner in the Philippines owning this rare figure.
