TK Toy Expo 2024 | Transformers Legacy United

It’s been almost six years, and the return of the Toy Kingdom Toy Expo after six years of hiatus was a welcome event for hobbyists and toy enthusiasts. The event has been around as far back as 2012 and it is a biennial event happening every other year until the pandemic happened four years ago cancelled this said event.

Now, the return for the much-adored Toy Expo is not the same as you have experienced since 2018. But that did not stop the Toy Kingdom from presenting every product they had in their store this year’s participation, which includes the Transformers brand by Hasbro distributed in the Philippines by Playkit Inc.

There were no “drops” of new arrivals or a fancy of gathering longtime collectors, and it’s not as grand as you see in the past displays since 2012. But it features a balance of product display and past/present displays of previous products that were sold on retail with a handful of exclusive never-before-seen toys that were given a spotlight in each era of the toy line.

Most of the toys exhibited owned by a product collector who participated in this exhibit have shown some age in them with some yellowing parts of the toy while others certainly appear to need a little more dusting. But of course, the random casuals would still be enthralled by the arrangements and categorized displays its main focus is to sell the newer toys that are more in promoting the upcoming Transformers One animated film that is set to be released early in September 2024.

Most of these assortments are the basic product that kids would enjoy ranging from one-step changers to role-playing battle masks that change into Optimus Prime or Megatron, which depends on which faction you want to side with. There are still toys for the collector/fan of the franchise that follow the Legacy Trilogy collection releases with the latest from Legacy United making some of their debut.

This also includes the Studio Series range of assortment from the classic 86 Movie, Live-Action Films, and Gamer Editions as well as the Concept figures that never made it to the big screen can be seen on their shelves.Indee3d, the highlight would merely focus on Transformers One products being launched at this event, but of course the mainline Legacy and Studio Series have this following being highly sought-after figure assortments first seen on this event.

At the centerpiece of the exhibit, is an Optimus Prime just waiting to have a selfie with event visitors roaming around the other booths and displays showing their appreciation to the Transformers brand this despite the recent years of distribution decline is having sort of a slow resurgence due to the upcoming animated film.

Hopefully, this interest in Transformers One would also translate to toy sales for the local distributor who has scaled down on bringing the product since last year. The Toy Kingdom Toy Expo is a fun experience with the latest showcase of products presented here certainly would invite interest from new fans and not into “just collecting toys” because it’s “the latest craze” at the same time explore the lore and mythology of what makes this brand popular that turned forty years in 2024.
